I'm Krissy, 20 from Manchester.
I lost the majority of my hearing when I was 14 and still haven't accepted the hearing loss if I'm honest.
At the minute it feels like I'm not communicating properly with anyone and I'm kind of in limbo because I don't do BSL so I can't communicate with deaf people and it's really difficult to communicate with hearing people so I've ended up pretty isolated :\
So..in an attempt to meet people I've joined here! Lol, it would be great to chat to people and make some friends

plus support and advice on certain things would be much appriciated.

Dear Krissy, Yes I understand how you feeling about your frustrated communicate with everyone. especailly you turn to deaf when you are 14 yrs that is worsed for you. but really never too late. you have to fight yourself to reach goal to learn your own life and never let be isolated continue. I believe that you belong like beside with hearing people. well ever you feel not satisfy communicate with them. Did you ever go see Doctor elevate about your hearing or hearing aid will ever help you? i wish I can answer. that will be great enjoy understand your situation. i wish chat you might i improve helping you.
